RentProof is a platform operated by Movely LLC (incorporated in New York, USA) that provides rental property inspection, tenant verification, and related services to tenants, landlords, and real estate professionals worldwide. These Terms govern your access to and use of the RentProof platform at rentproof.ai.
You must be at least 18 years old to use RentProof. By using our platform, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using RentProof on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
RentProof provides the following services, subject to availability in your region:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.
Inspection bookings: Inspections are confirmed after we verify inspector availability in your area. You will not be charged until the booking is confirmed by our team.
Tenant Score and checks: Payment is required at the time of order. Processing begins upon receipt of payment.
Pricing: All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may vary by country.
Refunds: If we are unable to fulfil a confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled inspection are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booking value.

Submitting fraudulent documents or false information is a serious breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.
RentProof inspection reports are prepared by qualified inspectors and are designed to provide an accurate record of a property's condition at the time of inspection. However:
When you commission a tenant check, you agree that:
The tenant being checked will be notified that a check has been initiated. Checks are subject to the subject's consent to share their data with RentProof for verification purposes.
All inspection reports, Tenant Score certificates, and other documents generated by RentProof are our intellectual property. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use reports generated for you for the purpose for which they were commissioned. You may not resell, reproduce, or distribute RentProof reports without our prior written consent.
The RentProof brand, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property and may not be used without our permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RentProof and Movely LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of our platform, or your submission of false or fraudulent information.
We may suspend or terminate your access to RentProof at any time if you breach these Terms, submit fraudulent information, or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or to RentProof. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at legal@rentproof.ai.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York, USA, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice on our platform. Continued use of RentProof after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
